Now to wait to see if he gets found unfit or not.

Yep there are 2 other people in my husband's company going through this and one got hers back in 2 days! The other was about a week.. My husband's peblo said everything seems to be going pretty quickly right now.. Hopefully my husband's stuff gets done before it slows down again LOL>

Now it's quick, is only to 3 months for me to get at the ratings stage. Now it seems I have hit a wall. Waiting sucks!

No unfit memo yet... I am really starting to hate holidays and weekends! My husband's NARSUM was sent to PEB on Friday, February 15th.. but then there was a 4 day weekend, and then this past weekend.. so technically its only been 6 business days! My husband called his peblo today to see if he had any news, but no one picked up the phone. So, hopefully by Friday if he doesn't hear from him he'll try calling again.

Hopefully by the time he gets to the ratings stages things will have sped up with that! Ive been reading the posts about the ratings part going slow and being backed up!!

Usually it takes about to weeks to get unfit memo. For example, I was found unfit on jan 11, my peblo didn't receive anything until jan23

Ya hopefully we'll hear something in the next week or two! And, luckily there is no more holidays until Easter I think (well I think good friday is in March), and its on a sunday so it shouldnt slow things down.

Alrighty... Sooo... I guess my husband ended up getting a hold of his peblo yesterday and his peblo said they kicked his packet back on the 16th because his peblo didn't send it in the "new way", he did it the old way (whatever that means).. So, it was sent back again on I think he said the 22nd? And then he said they were trying to kick it back for some reason I can't remember if he said why. So, my husband is going to give it one week before he calls about it... and then after that he said he's going to start calling daily. I am just not even going to hope that it gets done by a certain time cause it normally doesn't and I don't want to be disappointed!

So my husband got his unfit memo today. Not sure of the date it was sent to the VA.. But, I will post that when I find out.

Congrats. Most likely it was the date on the memo that it was sent to va.

I am being boarded for one knee condition, Degenerative Joint Disease status post Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL)/Meniscus/Posterior Lateral Corner Reconstrucition with a ROM limited to 30 degrees extension. Was told by MSC and PEBLO that they are backlogged and that my packet along with several others have been given "priority" over others since we've been waiting this long. I think it's their way of saying, we lost your packet but found it lol Hoping to get something soon. I hit 17 years (ouch) this past January. If they go by the VASRD, I should get 40% but who knows...Good Luck, hope yours go more smoothly!

July 2012-MEB Initiated
Aug- C&P Exam
Early Oct- Unfit Memo Received
As of today, still awaiting ratings

My husband's claim is complete as of yesterday (March 27th). So, now to wait for PEB to get his 199 done and sent to his Peblo.

Jealous.

Signed his 199 today.. Now to wait for the next step.

Congratulations! You are closer to the end of the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process! :)

Oh well, no comment from me since I am NOT at that point within the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process yet. :(

Best Wishes!

They'll send the 199 back to the PEB and it will be reviewed for quality control. Once approved, he'll be put on the TRANSPOC list. When this happens, a separation message will come down to your transition office and they'll bring him in to do his leave form. Once he has his leave form signed by his chain of command, he'll bring it back to transition who'll cut him orders and schedule his briefings with finance and retirement. After those, he'll get his clearing papers and start clearing.

Wow you get to see your va exam when your narsum is finished? Wish Lejeune would do that.

My husband got his orders today.. Packers come on the 18th to pack.. then on the 19th to load everything in the truck.. And, as long as my husband's leave form gets signed in time we will be Kansas bound on the 25th!
