Mine changed to preparation on the 7th and still hasn't changed to pending decision approval yet.

It'll be 30ish days until you get your call for your counseling for you 199.
My stuff changed on ebenefits from preparation for a decision to pending decision approval today. I am excited.

So I got a document emailed to me today by my PEBLO showing the movement of my case. As I was already aware, the case was sent from the PEB to the VA for ratings on August 7th. There was no other movement until November 13th where it now states that it is at distribution and is awaiting ratings. Does this mean my case sat around in limbo for 3 months with no progress being made?
That shouldn't have happened. You should contact someone higher up about that. It should have moved from the VA within a week or so.

No. That will further delay the process. Usually, everyone in DOD takes leave the last half of Dec. off. Unless you are "fast-tracked" the PEB is currently saying that it will take close to 6-weeks after the file enters "typing phase." I would bet that you will not get your 199 until after the new year.
Yea my peblo told me i should see my 199 around jan after we get back from the new year 4 day
when did your stuff go to the PEB and which PEB?
oct 23 it got sent up n then was found unfit on nov 6...im @ bragg
My PEBLO kind of told me the same thing, mine got sent off to the PEB in September, haven't really got too much news here in JBLM. PEBLO says everything will kind of be at a stand still unfortunately until after the New Year with the start of the holiday seasons.

on average it has taken 2-6 weeks it seems like to get a 199
I received my proposed ratings but no 199 yet. I am thinking due to the holidays, this process will be back logged for some time. I am on MRP orders to which end on 1 DEC. Does not look like I will get my 199 till end of this month or next month. My MSC informed me as of 1 OCT my packet came back from VA than on to the PEBLO and PEB. My PEBLO also changed and she told me nothing in the system yet. Last update was July 2012 when they sent my packet to VA to get the proposed ratings. So from my experience in the last few months. I feel it could be 30-90 days before 199 are typed, plus remember the system went down for 3 weeks and I bet they are playing catch up on the other 199. I was told its all electronic now but I bet someone still has to do the inputting. What I was told there is one person at FT LEWIS that does the 199.
I hope that is the case. That will definitely help those who have been waiting awhile.
Ok, here is my problem. I am in Hawaii, my Narsum got sent to fort lewis back in May. I got a phone call from my peblo in July saying that I was found unfit. He called me again in August saying that my prelim ratings were in and now I'm just waiting on my final signature. My peblo then left. So now I have a new peblo and she's saying that she hasn't heard anything about my case and that she is trying to contact the PEB to get answers for me because I am her oldest case. So my question is....is there a phone number I can call over in Fort Lewis to find out some information about my case because I have been waiting entirely too long for a 199?
