My current time line is as follows:
Referral - 23 July 2015
VA Claim Complete - 30 July 2015
Medical Exam (Fort Eustis TDY) 30 Aug 2015
Medical Evaluation Board - 21 Sept 15
Informal PEB - Sent to PEB on 5 October (No response yet)



Current timeline states finish date without appeal 02/18/2015
Referred condition:
Right hip Osteochondral Lesion. Performed right hip Arthroscopic micro fracture in Mar 2015 which condition worsening 4 months after surgery. Second surgery (Open hip dislocation) not recommended due to high risks of performing this surgery.


Claimed Conditions:
Left hip limited flexation and pain with movement ( X-ray showed multiple 2mm or greater calcifications within the acetabulum region)

Chronic Lower back pain due to Lumbar Sprain -- X-ray from medical exam showed back strain with normal calcification of the bones

Diarrhea - X-ray showed irregular bowel gas pattern (no previous visits to gastroenterologist due to a 4 hour trip to referred facility) C&P states gastroenteritis but no other information.

Other conditions listed on C&P - Refractive Amblyopia / Viral Labyrinthitis / Sinusitis / Epidermal Inclusion Cysts, Both Thighs
All conditions deemed medically acceptable except for right hip. As of yesterday my Fit/Unit is in the preliminary voting stage at the PEB (They received it on 5 September). PEBLO States he has seen unfit/fit take up to 1 month.
 
Update as of today 10/26/2015

Received notification from PEBLO that an MFR from PEB was uploaded with an unfit determination and my case has been transferred to the VA for ratings. Unfortunately all of the V codes were no due to injury happening before deployment but significant increase in issues during deployment.

I think we went for our Exams at the same time in the same location (Eustis). My case was supposedly sent to VA for ratings Friday when my unfit MFR was signed but so far it has not changed on ebenefits. I was also told from the PEBLO over here the 199 takes up to 6 weeks for it to be finished and sent over for your concur/non-concur.
 
I went to Bragg Aug 8, so far the 199 I've heard it will take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks which sucks we just have to be patient

I submitted my package to the IPEB before you were referred to the medical board.
 
The ipeb is the unfit or fit memo, that should only take a couple of days....have you checked your ebenefits to see if the VA has started reviewing your case?
 
As of today 28 October - Ebenefits reflecting Preparation for Decision on my initial claim when entering the IDES process and also another new claim entered as of yesterday 27 October 2015.

Cargar241 - I would definitely raise some questions to the PEBLO and even contact the IPEB itself. I know if it went to NCRPEB there is a contact email for them, or possibly the ombudsman can etc.
 
@jdeschaine I have questioned my PEBLO damn near weekly (when she is around and answers her calls/messages) for almost 2 months she has told me, as well as other friends I have made while going through this process, that they are having technical difficulties. this "NEW" system is supposed to be faster but all it has done is backlogged them more then they were already.

so as of right now I don't know what to do.

@Cargar241 ... Yea there is something going on some where with a disconnect of information. Are you in the Army? or a different branch?

Still waitin, I received and email from my peblo 2 days ago stating that I'm waiting on one signature from the presiding officer, hopefully I'll get it this week, I'll kept updating the forum

What do you mean by waiting for PEB findings. I thought that was just the unfit part. What am I missing?

PEB Finding is the fancy way that the IDES dashboard reports the 199. So basically I am just waiting on the 199. The PEBLO said any where from 4-6 weeks for the 199 even though they only have 10 days according to the IDES system but who knows.
 
My 199 took 15 "dashboard" days but 19 to be released to me if it helps. Does anyone know how long does the LOR take after signing the 199? Thanks
 
@pacostes On my dashboard it still says I am in the VA Rating phase but the PEBLO stated that was completed 4 November. So 6 days later and still no update which means the NCRPEB has not pulled the information back to compile and complete the 199. At least this is what I have been told. It makes sense for 15 days and to receive it on day 19 especially since it could have been completed later in the week.

In regards to the LOR I have been told numerous different things ranging from 6 days to 4 weeks but then again this information is coming from the PEBLO here whereas the PEBLO in the states said at most is 10 days because a transpoc date needs to be assigned with it as well but who knows I am not an expert nor have I managed cases going through IDES. I would estimate no longer than 2 weeks though. That seems like the norm for here in Germany based on information I got from other people who have completed this process.
