17 months in the MEB not as long as some but long enough, I have been paused 6 times, returned from Dccs 3 times, returned from PEB 1 time with 10 Items checked and 4 addendums needed. I went to Psych today for one of the redo's and was told that the PEB was asking for Her to change her original DX, I feel they are attempting to keep me from getting that automatic 50% for 4.129 mental disorder due to traumatic stress- conversion 9424 and dysthymic 9433 from a head injury in 09. I have multiple brain lesions, migraines, black spots in vision, memory issues, seizures but they have not DX me with a TBI so this is what I am left with and now they are attempting to erase that. I am at the point where I would sign for 0% just so I would not have to deal with this anymore, I got SSDI for my head Injury which they used the same Medical Documents that the Army used go figure.
would anyone have any suggestions before the addendums go back to San Antonio?
On the other side of this I have a Battle that was injured in several IED's and the Army gave him TBI but SSDI said no, whats wrong with this system? a DR. should be a DR. no matter where he or she works.

Hang in there! I don't have any specific comments, but I would say that your frustration is normal....and yes, there are real problems with how the military weighs the evidence, sometimes cherry picking certain pieces of evidence without a reason over other equally valid/strong evidence.

You need to hang in there brother. This is what “they” want you to do. That’s what their goal is. Make you so pissed off at the absolute stupidity of the system that you just walk away. Now more than ever is the time for you to dig in and hold your ground. You've put in 17 months into this now but you need to remember you have your whole life ahead of you. You put your butt on the line for this country, got hurt and now the bean counters need to compensate you for a future lifetime of pain and suffering. Get mad, get angry, go get help but don’t GIVE UP!
