Help!!! Please!!! JASON?

So, I woke up this morning to get ready for my C&P exam. I go online to double check the time of the appointment before I leave and it states that my C&P is canceled!

Should I be nervous? Are they not going to rate my TMJ? Or do you think they finally looked in my service records and now have enough info that the C&P is not needed?

Indeed, I would tend to believe that the DoVA received/found the necessary medical evidence within your STR which initiated the cancellation of said DoVA C&P Examination.

To that extent, have you made an official inquiry as to the purpose of the C&P Exam cancellation?

As such, I truly pray that the DoVA continues to evaluate on disability claim for targeted completion expeditiously.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Dear Amy:

Hope you printed out the web page that said your appointment today was cancelled.

Did you call them and ask why? Take names, times, etc....

If not, just to be on the safe side, print out your cancelled appt.

To me, this seems odd as you did not cancel it, and you were not informed of this cancelled appt. You found out by accident by going to their web site.

Why didn't they call you and tell you this appt. was cancelled?

Have they re-scheduled this apt and what was the appt. for anyway?

V/R,

It states cancelled by clinic. I was not called. It was not rescheduled.

OMG! My ebenefits showed that it has moved to "Preparation for Notification "!

How do they review everything in 10 days and make a decision for 24 claims in 2 days? It took 26 months, but I may finally be done. I hope I don't have to amend anything. I'm even more scared now.

Is there anyway to get results before being notified?

Like I wrote up above, I got my letter THREE WEEKS after my LONG 17 month wait to get my C&P exams.

AND, on one issue, I never went to that last and final C&P exam for that issue, and three weeks later got my award letter. I didn't go and I STILL got 30% for that issue as they already had enough evidence in my case file to award that percentage.

I wonder if this is what happened in your case? I wonder if somebody found you already had enough evidence in your case file and cancelled your appt. for that issue?

Did you call them to see what the what is?

Once it's moved to claim closed you'll be able to see your ratings off ebenefits

I'm hoping that is the case. I wasn't sure who to call, as C&P appointments are made by the regional office.
I'm hoping the jaw xray, and measurements my primary C&P doctor did was enough proof. And my SM records, as it was a condition that was checked on yearly.

I'm so scared.

OMG!

Today it says : "Appeal is Possible. Decision Notification Sent"

Where can I find it? Or do I have to wait for the snail mail???

Does it normally state appeal is possible?

Calm down Calm down

Go to VA Letters on Ebenefits n you will see your ratings, and yes every claim that Is ever done will always show

Stop overthinking lol

I found it. It states 90% and only dates back to MAY 01, 2013, when I added my missed conditions. Not my 1 Nov 2011 retirement date. I need to see the break down, but I know I should be 100%. So I have 2 questions.

How do I get my taxes back for the last 2 years of getting DOD pay instead of VA disabled pay?

And do I need a lawyer for my appeal?

I knew it wouldn't be right....

And you won't see how they rated to you get the package in the mail

You don't get taxes back, you will only get the offset of VA pay as backpay from the date of your claim

When you get your ratings in the mail it will give you instructions on how to appeal

Will the 90% help is I reapply for SSDI?

Yes I would send them a copy of the breakdown of your rating which will show your conditions and the severity

I thought if you were an initial rating, it would go back to your seperation date? especially when I had all these conditions while being in service.

I thought if you were an initial rating, it would go back to your seperation date? especially when I had all these conditions while being in service.

I may be wrong but that only applies to conditions that they (the VA) determine to exist but assign a 0% rating to... If I am wrong someone please help me out here.

It might in your case because you was in LEGACY and was medically retiredI'm not sure how it worked but, usually backpay only dates back to the date the claim was started

How can that be so? when I had no rating whatsoever. I didn't have any rating for it to be 0%. This is my first rating ever.
