ACTIVE DUTY ARMYHi! I got my proposed ratings at 40%. Signed my 199 and approved my ratings on Jan 10th 2022. I’m wondering how long it’ll take to get orders and my separation date? Just curious how long it took any of you guys?

1) 12 OCT 21 Signed NARSUM
2) 15 OCT 21 Case moved to PEB
3) 05 NOV 21 Receive unfit findings from PEB
4) 15 DEC 21 Received ratings 10% DOD and 100% VA
5) 16 DEC 21 Counseled on PEB findings
6) 20 DEC 21 Disagreed with IPEB findings for DOD rating and submitted a written appeal
7) 21 DEC 21 Received FPEB schedule date for 25 MARCH 2022
8) 06 JAN 22 IPEB accepted and approved my written appeal with new form 199 (new ratings DOD=60% with Permanent retirement AND VA=100%. So I waived the FPEB that was supposed to be in MARCH 2022.
9) 06 JAN 22 Agreed and signed new form 199
10) 11 JAN 22 Received a NLD (No later date) to exit the Army.

I signed 199 on 6 Jan 2022 and I received a NLD on 11 JAN 2022. But i've heard that for some people, it takes a week or two. In my case, it took me 5 days after signing 199 to get my NLD.Thank you! Make sure your commander signed and routed everything through your S-1 or MPD.I signed 199 on 6 Jan 2022 and I received a NLD on 11 JAN 2022. But i've heard that for some people, it takes a week or two. In my case, it took me 5 days after signing 199 to get my NLD.

My PEBLO emailed me the entire findings from PEB, then called me and we went over the entire paperwork.How were you notified of your unfit findings from the PEB?

No worries! I guess I’m just confused haha my NARSUM was signed, I believe submitted to PEB on the 18th. My PEBLO said I won’t know any fit/unfit, or percentages until I receive my 1099 from her. But I’ve seen people be notified of unfit and proposed ratings well in advance before receiving their 199s if that makes more sense.

As soon as the PEB is done with their findings as to what conditions are fitting and unfitting, the packet will be send to your PEBLO. Your PEBLO will then call you and said he/she got your findings from PEB. Since, most of the PEBLO don't do face to face appointment becos of COVID, they will email you the entire document and discuss it with you on a telephone call, while you sit in front of your computer looking at the documents.No worries! After the counseling on the PEB findings with your PEBLO, you will have about 5-7 days to either agree or disagree with the PEB findings.
