I tried to find the answer but wasn’t successful, so I’ll ask here. If you get referred for a MEB from 2 different unfit conditions, how will the DOD rating be added up/combined? Will the DOD rating follow VA math or actual math? For example: SPC Snuffy got 100% from VA but DOD awarded him 50% for diabetes and 30% for scars. Will that combine into 65% (which rounds up 70%) or use real math for 80%?
DOD uses the VA combined rating table.
Where the 50% on the left side column intersects with the 30% on the top row comes to the 65% block. 65% rounds up to 70%. So the DoD rating will be 70%.
