According to the VA website there are 3 criteria (you have to meet one of them) to get 100% of the GI bill, one is getting a Purple Heart after 9/11/01, the next is getting discharged for a service connected disability and served more than 30 days, the next is serving more than 36 months
Well, the VA never even asked me if I meet the other 2 criteria, they saw I didn’t serve 36 months and won’t pay all of my tuition. I was supposed to start summer school in a few weeks. I called the VA education hotline and also emailed my MSC and I emailed the VA my PEB findings to prove I was discharged for a service connected disability.
Does anyone have information on how to get my GI bill? I used the search function and see I am not the only one having issues with this.
