How long after signing the 199 is this wait for the email??.

Soooo I started all this 06/24/2019...I barely signed my 199 on 01/07/2020... and I still haven’t gotten “the email”..
I’m at Fort Campbell KY. I heard it takes 7-10 days... ya not for me. My friend started his process later and he has been out since the 1/02. His “email” took like 8 days..

I got a newborn on the way I’m tired of waiting I’m away from my wife and it’s like everything takes forever for me. Idk why. Like where is my email..

Are you referring to receiving retirement orders? If so you will not get an email from the Army Physical Disability Agency. Your orders show up in your IPERMS and your PEBLO will simultaneously contact you.

so from what I was told was that when I signed my 199 on 1/7 it went to PDA in DC...then I’ll get an email with documents I give to my S1 and THEN I wait again (my friend waited 8 or so days) to get his orders.
I’m wondering after I sign my 199 how long after did it take to get the NLT 90 window ?? My PEBLO isn’t the greatest..

I would expect it to take at least two weeks. I received no “email” from the PDA. I received orders this week via IPERMS and my PEBLO.

Really?? You did your at Campbell too right?
My boy before me like a month quicker said his process was the same that was described to me...
Sign 199 -> (8 days later) Email with NLT with a separation packet to give to S1/Pac to get orders cut -> (almost two weeks) orders cut -> clearing papers didn’t come till about 5 days before terminal date started. That was HIS timeline
I was told the same thing tbh, sign 199 -> Email with NLT from Transpoc or something ->fill files in email, give it to S1 -> wait for Orders to be cut -> official orders come -> bye bye

In the exit interview with VA after I signed my 199 I did add my wife to it. She said it wouldn’t affect anything since it’ll process separately than what was sent to the PDA phase of it. Idk if that’s true or not tbh

Yes. Fort Campbell. I would give it two full weeks then follow up with your PEBLO. The PEBLO’s can be less than eager to answer your questions but it never hurts to stop by, be pleasant and ask if they would mind calling the PDA to check on your case.

...ah man 2 weeks? I swear if two weeks passes and then I get the “email” with no actual orders I’ll be mad tbh. I’ve waited so long and this PEBLO does drag his feet sometimes. Went on leave and didn’t let me know he just left. I did send a email to his supervisor asking about an update , they forwarded the questions to my PEBLO. Hopefully that lights some progress up

PDA is specific to your DOD ratings and retirement. Your VA pay is increased for having a spouse or children. That was what the MSC was referring to.

So it shouldn’t effect my ratings? Like make them go through ANOTHER round of review?? Man I swear this is confusing , how come you didn’t get the “email” ??

Nothing to do with your ratings. You are at the end of the tunnel. Don’t worry. I don’t know anything about an “email”. I received retirement orders via my PEBLO and IPERMS.

Yes, that is a bit different process. I am not familiar with the differences in how they process soldiers that are being medically separated.

I think it might be, every phase has been dragging it’s feet. Sucks, I got a 24 weeks pregnant wife in CA with my family I’m trying to get gone ASAP. I just hope my Orders timeline is shorter to make up for this wait

hi, this sounds similar to my situation. Maybe you’re able to explain it a little better to me? I signed my findings Jan 14th. 3 weeks ago a “message” is what admin called it came out and said my FOPC 18 feb, RAD 27 apr, TDRL 28 apr. My admin department then submitted/requested for orders.. it’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything. They told me they were going to request my new EAOS for 1 March but that’s only a week away and I still have nothing. I need to ship my car, move out, etc. it’s really stressing me out. Any advice? How long did it actually take to get your EAOS and was it the date you requested for approved? Thank you!
