How long for ratings from IPEB?

Good morning. I am new to this forum so maybe this has been answered before.
I have been waiting for my packet to come back from the IPEB with my ratings. I was frustrated so I called the VA (after being on hold for 1 hour) told be that they had finished my preliminary rating on 26August. I called my PEBLO who said she didn't know anything and couldn't see anything and that I would probably be another 2-3 months before I heard anything and that I need to learn some patience (my MedBoard was initiated on 1March).
Anyways, from what I know this seems a bit long to get ratings back, no? I am utterly frustrated and I don't know where else to try and get any information from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How long have you been pending decision approval? Do you have a claim in historical claims yet? In my experience the PEBLO isn't supposed to tell you anything about fit or unfit until you have everything back and ready to sign for in front of you.

I have been in pending decision approval since September, and nothing in historical. I check about once a day, maybe more sometimes

I've been told the pending decision approval means nothing unless you have the original claim in historical. May be an error in the VA system. Has your stuff gone from the PEB to the VA? Mine took a month and a half once it got to the VA to go to historical.

Try calling the VA on Monday
 
Here is a copy of my current timeline so that everyone can see step by step. I am Army and currently waiting on my orders to be cut. I see a lot of people on here frustrated with getting ratings back and all I can say is be persistent. I had to contact an Ombudsman to call the PEB just to find out that my paper work was sitting somewhere and had not been looked at. Just like anything else, you need to be patient but you need to take care of yourself.

Referral: 3 days; complete 02 Jun 16
VA Claims: 8 days; complete 9 Jun 16
Medical Exams: 36 days; complete 14 Jul 16
Medical Evaluation Board: 9 days; complete 22 Jul 16
Informal PEB: 17 days; complete 11 Aug 16
VA Ratings: 7 days; complete 17 Aug 16
PEB Findings: 63 days; complete 3 Nov 16
PEBLO Counsel & Soldier Election: 1 day; complete 3 Nov 16
NO APPEALS
PDA Action SecArmy Approval: ..........
 
The army seems to have this system on lock. For some reason the department of the Navy cannot figure out the timelines. I chose the wrong service...
 
I just chatted to the VA, asked what block 12 said, and he came back with unfit. Now to wait on the VA
 
@bradrich222 what are you referring to when you say block 12? I have called VA for the last 2 days and seem to get no answers on anything. should they have some sort of document that stats fit or unfit if they are moving forward with calculating ratings?
 
@Fran0609 I am Air Force. The PEB form number is AF356. When I called, I just asked them what was on block 12 because on the AF form, that's where their fitness decision is stated. It will probably be different for other branches though.
 
@bradrich222 Thanks for that information!! I will give them a call today and hope that there is something in there for me to know.
 
anybody know if there is a delay right now with getting orders for Navy? its been 15 days already and nothing yet, really hoping i get it by the end of next week so i can be out for Thanksgiving.

I finally got word on my orders and was hoping to check out next week but nope, it takes 10 days to process your hard copy orders and dd214 so I cant check out until december 1st and they pushed my eas back.
