How long for severance pay to hit the account

Hello everyone,

First thanks for all the info that helped me through the process. I was found unfit with a rating of 20%. My discharge date was 31 March 2011. I was told by finance back in Germany that 80% of my severance pay would hit on 31 March or 1 April, with the other 20% hitting in about a month after that. So far nothing has hit my account and I have not been able to get any help. The nearest Military base to me is AF and they will not help because I am Army. The nearest Army base wont help me because I was released from Germany. Germany is not answering their phone and yes I accounted for the time change. Any advice would be helpful and greatfuly appreciated. Thank you!

I never heard of getting your severance pay in one day. More like 45 days...

I got discharged in Japan may 25th and told me 24 hours for my 80% I still got nothing and I got bills>< I go back to Japan on the 30th so I'm going to call finance I even hate that he said I can gurantee ur severence pay. 45 days is too long by then ur leave and final pay should be in along with the rest of severance. I hate this process they need a better system in the military and I did save it's called I got bills lol
