IDES Final Rating

Hello,

I underwent the medboard process and got out at the start of January on the 6th. Two days later the VA tracker on their website stated it was in the evidence gathering stage and hasn't moved since. This is problematic as I'm going through the VR&E program and I can't get their subsistence stipend until I have my final rating. I called the VA hotline and they said nothing can be done and nothing is needed.

Friends I have known who've gotten medboarded have gotten their finals within 30 days, which is what I was told is typical for IDES claims (according to my PEBLO).

Is there an average wait time for final ratings? I feel as though I'm being too critical of the situation as other service members wait sometimes years and I'm expecting a resolution in as little as two months. Though having a family that relies on me solely makes me feel uneasy about this process and the lack of communication.

How did you get out of IDES without Finalized ratings? were u reserves or guard. or did MEB return you to duty and you ETS'd. Also what service were u in.
 
I had my proposed rating but I heard the VA reevaluates after you get out and submit your 214. I was active army and got out with a 214 that states retired.

Did you sign your 199? those are your final ratings. are you perhaps TDRL on DOD side. or did you happen yo open another claim after you received your proposed ratings?
 
I saw that I was put on the PDRL. As Charlie suggested I contacted the army IDES people and they said something was very off and they told me they'd look into it. I regret I didn't think to do this earlier though I was told directly by the VA people that nothing else was required.
