IDES/IPEB Question

For a quick overview of my situation, I have been coded 37 for "bilateral leg pain" due tendonosis (chronic condition/deterioration of my Achilles tendons from running). I My PCM submitted a IRLO, and AFPC recommended a full MEB. I have already completed my tele conference with the VA (I am OCONUS), and I have my TDY dates/appointments for the VA next week. My question is, what are the chances of them coming back after all of this and returning me to duty after the VA TDY? I really don't want to be returned to duty, and have already started making plans once I get out. I have already gone to my pre-sep briefing and they made me register for TAPS. Does it sound like it is pretty much a done deal as far as being separated? (Not to sound like that guy, but being separated is best case scenario for me, they said If I was RTD, I would be coded and it would limit bases I could PCS to about 3 bases. And I would be stuck in a desk job, which is terrible.) This process is actually moving very fast, the Commanders letter recommended keeping me and being coded since I cant deploy, but AFPC has final say and they wanted a full MEB, since I "no longer met AF retention standards". Do you guys think I should go ahead and make plans for college and job searching?
