IDES Timeline

Progression my left ass cheek! People are seeing that the military isn't worth it to get free college and don't want to join and the people in are sick of being treated like children. They only had this trick up their sleeve that won't include more funding.
Haha I know man. And In todays market most jobs give tuition assistance anyways so they’re gonna be pretty screwed here in the near future. They published a survey a couple weeks ago asking everyone “What non-monetary benefits can we provide marines that are wanting to leave the service”.

I just typed up an ice comment. I felt so raged doing it and it’s long but it still came out so… polite, way too nice imo. Hope this does something. It at least feels good to say something. I’m sure she will know it’s me…
At least there is a shred of ambiguity with the ICE. I guess on Pendleton they don't have a section for ICEing PEBLOS so i said fuck it and put in a IG complaint. They made me give up my anonymity to continue on with the complaint. Kind of didn't care if they knew. Ended up putting one in for the PEB and my PEBLO. PEB one went nowhere of course. But the one for the PEBLO ended up getting thrown back down onto NHCP for their commander to do an investigation. Had some Chief doing the investigation (or at least contacting me for my part and the PEBLO for hers) he was a super cool guy and had similar recommendations on changes our IDES office could implement. Currently he said it's out of his hands and being routed for the CO to review and go where he wants with it. The IDES office actually ended up giving my case to the supervisor who normally doesn't have a case load from my understanding he handles findings once they come back. They tried telling the chief that they changed my PEBLO a long time ago and that was why my PEBLO never responded to my emails/calls. But I gave him all of the correspondence between me and the IDES office and none of it said anywhere i was handed off.

Anyways they should be doing something with it and update me with any changes they implement (hopefully). I was still going to try and put something together myself to bring to him. Probably going to make a post here soon looking for other Pendleton Marine testimonies (get them to email me some kind of written statement on the impacts and how lost in the sauce they have been through the whole process) to round up common issues and proposed solutions that can be implemented with the IDES office. Still hashing out how exactly i want to do it though.

That's pretty fucked they changed your PEBLO with no notice. I submitted an ICE on the transition coordinators where I'm at and they also called me the same day and began asking me a bunch of questions and pretty much blamed everything on COVID because everything is done over the phone and not in person. Hopefully you start getting the info you need and are actually taken care of because they now know you submitted a complaint and probably don't want another one.

Yeah I think they did that to make it seem like i was just contacting the wrong person to shift blame off them. However I don't mind the new guy is actually attentive to his duties and responds to emails/calls. Yeah everybody loves to blame everything on COVID even though multiple studies have shown that professional jobs have shown little change in productivity and often even had increased productivity and workflow. But i guess working for the government changes that conclusion lol

I submitted a compliant to a congressman who is high up on the House Armed Service committee. What if all 5,000 plus sailors/marines all started calling the House and Senate Armed Service Committees? I don't if anything more we all can do. But something has to give.

Hello All, I’m pretty much fresh meat to this system, however, I’m near hyt for CPO, I’m assuming they can keep extending me, is that in writing anywhere? Thanks in advance

I emailed mine last week Thursday and an inquiry was sent out Friday. I'm expecting about 10 days turnaround. If it works I'll post what I sent to them. Or would yall just like a writeup you can use and modify?
Both man

“hey I see you complained… sorry bout it”

I did one in Beaufort a few months back because the PEBLO sat on my case after everything was signed and finished for 8 weeks before submitting to the PEB and they basically said “she’s very busy”

At one point I had to ask if she had quit her job because everyday I called they said they “didn’t know” when she would be returning to work. Like they didn’t know if she was on leave or teleworking or what. I hate it here. Sometimes I get answers from Ms.Ewell and Mr.Krauer if you ever try to contact them, they’re legal for med boards.
