Just got a call saying I’ve been found unfit! PEBLOsaid I should get my findings in a week or so
when did you submit?
June…took forever
I haven’t gotten my findings yet. But I’ve already been found unfit. Just need the findings to come in the comings weeks
Mine was submitted in June to and I am still waiting. Are you at Portsmouth?
No I’m at camp Lejeune. You should get yours soon. Apparently My RCC sent an email directly to them and it helped move mine along. You should prob talk to WWB to get help as well
Look them up, they have a website. But honestly, they haven’t really done much for me.
I got mine on Monday. 167 days with MO 210 days at PEB
Your PCM can refer you or you can refer yourself. If you’re in the Navy, go to MyNavy portal quick links to get to the Navy Wounded Warrior info. They have assigned me a vocational rehab counselor, a transition coordinator, and many more resources. They were even able to tell me what the VA rated me even though the website said I’m ineligible. Definitely been way more helpful than my PEBLO.
how can you refer yourself? my PCM will absolutely not refer me I know that for a fact, and I’ve been trying to get more help from resources. mind shooting me a PM?
More than likely the mental health cases since they have to be seen by "specialists". There's been a bunch of findings from August submissions coming back for physical conditions
So my PEBLO said I was already found unfit. What now? How long till my findings come for real? My PEBLO said a week or so but I barley believe them now
1 (800) 827-1000, not sure if you all have this number, but it’s the va, if you call in during office hours, you can see if proposed ratings have come in. Ask for claim status when prompted by machine, and will need to authenticate with ssn birthday and address put in on claim. One operator asked for address one didn’t. Ask if your “proposed” ratings are final and off so what are they.
If all is complete then you will need to wait on pers to have orders to separate. If i am not mistaken
Guys my case is getting to the point where my Chief wants to help me and contact the PEB in DC to see what's going on. What info or DC PEB number should I give him or is there any way he can get ahold of them in a better way. Giving him my peblo's number would do not help.
" The Physical Evaluation Board is a performance based board and not a continuation of the medical board. At the PEB service members are evaluated against their ability to execute the duties of their rank, rate/MOS, grade, or office. The evaluation of the Unit Commander holds significant weight with the board. The non-medical assessment (NMA) submitted by the command is the primary document the board leverages to determine the Service member’s ability to perform their duty. It is imperative that unit commanders take the time to understand and reconcile conditions referred to the PEB for evaluation and provide their own assessment as to why each referred condition prevents the Service member from performing their duty.
