IDES Timeline

See my response right above.
Thank you, I had to do all the work for my admin because once they got this message, they told me ok now we wait for your orders to pop up in NSIPS. In reality I have to do my SEP package then give it to them to start my orders based on the message.

Losing hope for my ratings. I’ve been with case assembly since April 15 which is apparently the last step? Early Oct case, I just wanna know my ratings and then play another waiting game to get out. :( just frustrated and ready for my new life.

Anyone have any luck calling DFAS to see if the audit was done? I got two rude people on the phone today (called once, extremely rude person, called again a few hours later, another rude person). Usually hear the DFAS people are nice, haha.

Reason I ask, several people who got out after me got their severance and final pay. So I wanna know what's going on.

Yayyyy congratulations !! Almost finished

How long does it take after fitness determination has been made to receiving findings?

It’s weird how some people message take a week and others 3 weeks like me or more.
A week is abnormally fast. From the time you sign and return your findings until the PEB releases your name to PERS on the index is usually like a week all by itself…. I’d say 3-4 weeks would be a realistic norm just to allow for transmission and normal admin processes.

Gotcha, still wish I was one of those one weekers lol.

I hear ya. It does feel unbearable being in limbo for so long. I was a MH case and every day I did not see movement was absolutely grueling, esp after month 4. Feel free to pm me if you need to vent. Wishing you luck and strength as you get through this.

You don’t get to choose. 75 days is the standard per DODM 1332.18. Command admin shop can reach out via the disability inbox to request a different date, but it’s not commonly granted.
My EAS was initially June 27th and I emailed the disability retirement email and they said I can change my EAS to the end of April or the end of May. (This was around the beginning of April when they said this and my March 22 is when my June 27th EAS message came out)

I’m sure you’re right, but they didn’t seem to have any problem with me changing my EAS to sooner. And my EAS is now May 30th so it all worked out for me with out any special request or anything like that

Just talked to my PEBLO, I’m at day 81 with the medical officer. They said 7-8 months from the time your package is uploaded. Also she said they are getting a lot of stuff back from the Medboard so hopefully some of you that have been waiting forever know something soon.

Welp, got off the phone with DFAS, my severance was released today. How long usually once released, does it take to get it in your account? (I have USAA)
