Illnesses/Injuries rated by the Army

I have been diagnosed with the following illnesses/injuries:

PTSD
Major Depression
Degenerative Disc Disease
Plantar Fasciatis
Hemmorroids
Chronic Bronchitis

I work as an automation/IT officer. Which of the above diagnoses would be considered and rated as fit/unfit for duty by the Army?

I understand the VA will rate all quality of life health issues but am interested in which of those illnesses will be rated/considered by the Army. I was told by several that the Plantar Fasciatis may not be rated by the Army because I could still be "fit for duty" by working a desk job.

Thank you

It depends on what conditions the PEB deems as unfitting for your rank and MOS and they have wide (and unchecked) latitiude in deciding what is unfitting or not.

Thanks Mike,

I believe because my job consists of managerial / support / desk work for the most part the Army would not consider my foot problems. I heard the same thing from the American Legion rep but wanted to get the PEBForum take.

Thanks again!
