In and out of the loop

I am out of state helping my parents. My dad entered hospice last week. On the day he was released from the hospital, the nurse pushing his wheelchair clipped my mother's ankle and she fell down and broke her hip which lead to hip replacement surgery. I am at their house with my siblings supporting their needs for an indefinite period of time. There are times that I will be unable to help out on the site and times that I will. Being able to support the site when I can is beneficial in helping to get my mind off of things and take a break from things. However, my participation will likely be erradic for awhile. Mike

I am so very sorry to read of what is happening to your Father and Mother.

This is a very stressful time for you and all your family.

Please know you and your Family are in my thoughts and heart - in prayers, too.

Do not worry about this site right now. Just do what you can - when you can.

You are a devoted Son, doing all you can right now with your family.

My prayers goes out to you and your family as you are facing difficulty times in life. Do what you have to do, take care of your family first. As parents turned to nobody but you guys for support. You are a blessing to your parents, and always being a blessing to this site with knowledge shared. I never forget you being the first person to attend to my initial lengthy post and at the time I thought I reached rock bottom. Your parents must be proud of you. Be strong for them.

My dad passed peacefully in his sleep on Monday night. Services will be on Saturday and then we need to get my mom situated for dealing with her hip replacement. I hope to be back home by the first of March.

But I am relieved to read your Father did pass peacefully.

I sure hope your Mom is doing better from her broken hip. This whole thing must be really hard on her right now.

I am sorry to hear of your Father's passing....I hope that he was comforted by your presence and that you got to spend meaningful time with him before he died.
