Is there more then One NARSUM? I'm being told that my MEB won't start until my NARSUM is completed and my Commander's Impact Statement is completed. However, I've also read that the NARSUM is completed after VA appts. My NARSUM was just completed, however I've not had any VA appts. What am I missing? Thanks!

Sounds like just confusion in terminology. There is only one NARSUM. In the AF, you should be presented with a copy of the NARSUM and AF Form 618 at the "end" (I state that because you can still request an Impartial Medical Review and rebut the MEB after you are given a copy, so it is not really, the "end" of the process).
You should talk with your PEBLO for clarification (they should be able to explain it to you, though I am not saying they will).
