Long time lurker, first time posting. here is my timeline so far
15 Oct 23-Symptons onset
Lots of appointments, medications, therapy, imaging
14 November 24-ACDF Surgery
10 March 25-Referred to AMRO Board
22 July 25-NARSUM Submitted
25 July 25-IRILO Notification-Full MEB Directed
30 July 25-DAF 1185 CIS Signed-Do Not Retain
11 Aug 25-First meeting with PEBLO
26 Aug 25-First meeting with MSC (establish VA claim)
11 Sept 25-First C&P (Mental Health)
13 Sept 25-Second C&P (Audiogram)
17 Sept 25-Third C&P (Overall/General Exam)
31 Oct 25-MEB Complete/Signed 618 and pushed to IPEB
1 Nov 25-4th C&P (Last minute Appt, VA requested to "refine info from 3rd exam")
14 Nov 25-First FSS email (day after government opens)
26 Nov 25-Reached out to PEBLO, "case is still being rated"-I assume this is DRAS?
 
Dang you been in the MEB process for awhile . I’ve been waiting on orders and haven’t heard anything

Yeah this is frustrating. I had to do a medical hold extension. My original DOS was 4 September of this year.

Ah wait nvm, I see you havent gotten your proposed yet. The VA Website will show a closed claim when they finish the proposed, but that doesnt mean it was applied to the DRAS yet. You can call the VA line and ask where the status is.
 
Update, just got my second MYFSS EMAIL!

Yeah I don’t have any ratings yet. I got the info about unfit today from my MSC.

Your AF Form 356, Findings and Recommended Disposition of USAF Physical
Evaluation Board have been sent to the Physical Evaluation Board Liaison
Officer (PEBLO) at your base Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Your PEBLO
will be putting together the rest of your package over the next 24 hours and
then contacting you once it is ready. When the package is ready, the PEBLO
will contact you to explain the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) findings and
recommended disposition to you. If the PEBLO has not contacted you after 48
hours of receipt of this email notification, please contact them. You may
request a copy of the package for your personal records.

Your PEBLO will provide you with results on the AF Form 356 findings and
ask you to sign an AF Form 1180, Action on Physical Evaluation Board
Findings and Recommended Disposition within the next six days. The AF Form
1180 provides Airmen an option to agree or disagree with the PEB decision.
We recommend you contact the Office of Disability Counsel (ODC) to discuss
the findings prior to signing the AF Form 1180.

Individuals placed on the Temporary Disability Retired List are eligible for
retirement recognition. Contact your unit Commander Support Staff or
Retirement PSD guide

Well hopefully you hear something soon . My whole process took like 3 months total . The longest process for me has been waiting on orders because of the shutdown .

3 months for your entire MEB? Or 3 months waiting on final decision and ratings?

That’s insanely fast. I’ve been through 3 different PCM’s for this before my NARSUM even got wrote and submitted. Now I’m on my 4th PCM, coupled with the shutdown it’s taking forever.

I called the VA and all they told me was that i am still awaiting a proposed rating and that they show all my exams are complete. continue to wait...

How did you find out your 356 was completed before receiving an fss email?

I asked peblo for updates, they have a myfss case they can see the status of what step its on. Thats why on the 19th it went to dras, and then it said completed on 25th, i didnt recieve it until when i got the second myfss email though, but the signature was for the 25th so ig it sat when it was done

step 5 complete on VA app as of just now!!!!! wooo
