Nice are you at Jblm as well ? And after signing my narsum they said I’ll just be waiting to hear back from PEB
 
Yup. I'm JBLM. Same, they said just wait. It could be as soon as 2 weeks or 9 weeks.
My stuff made it to the PEB 30JULY2025. Keep on waiting.... packets have been moving fast so hoping for the same. Let me know if you hear anything back.
 
shii we are def close I’ll let you know for sure what i hear .. if you don’t mind me asking how did your claims go ? Did you get everything you claimed ?
 
I had over 30 ish claims. I think I didn't get a couple of them due to not getting seen periodically. Lesson learned to pass on the next generation. Get seen! Follow up! You are your own advocate. I am still waiting on ratings so I guess I will find out then how many of them were rated.
 
I had about the same number of claims. Didn't get like 3 of them total, so good luck out there.

Yea when they add a 2nd P3 it means they found another unfitting condition it happened to me as well. After all the C&P exam I the VA diagnosed me with another unfitting condition so the DoD has to add it to your profile before sending it to the PEB.

Hi. Where on IPSAA could I look for the MEB complete status?
 
My buddy did a narsum rebuttal, it amounted to nothing, all they do for the narsum or even the PEB phase is determine the conditions which sent you to the MEB. My friends C&P examiner was awful and screwed him over so he did his rebuttal during the narsum phase and essentially was told yes it's still an unfitting condition after weeks of waiting. They didn't change anything and was still the same outcome.

However he is now at the final stage and due to being screwed by the examiner previously, the DA199 he has now done a rebuttal for the proposed rating from the DOD which technically he's not doing a formal PEB review but seeing if the lawyer can get them to increase the DOD rating. It's been over a month for them to either keep the percentage in place or increase.

Any rebuttal or formal review will delay the timeline but if you are looking for a certain percentage for DOD, I.e. 30% for medical retirement then do what you think is best and be prepared to wait.
 
I dont know what to do. It seems prudent to try to preserve the record for a peb. Show that you have been consistently raising this issue. I guess I need to learn how to be patient.

I was going to rebuttal my NARSUM but the lawyer said it would be pointless because PEB doesn’t care if a doctor messed up the surgery they only care if the condition is military related and if your found unfit

Same they didn’t give me about 5 of the small conditions I claimed

Any word on your PEB findings? My VA claims closed 14 AUG 2025. My PEBLO says the PEB is still working on my DOD ratings. The VA says they have forwarded their recommendations to the PEB when the claims closed in the system. Just waiting, patiently not so patiently! I heard there have been some cutting of personnel within the IDES section so this could mean more delays than usual.
 
I have not heard anything and one of my battles started a week after me and she received her findings last week they gave her 6 days to sign

I head the exact same thing. Legal is getting gutted. I heard all the paralegals will no longer be employed by end of year. SAD.

That’s crazy I signed Narsum like 20-25th of June and nothing on VA saying claims closed just states nothing submitted, just called my PEB they said a week or two for this peb phase to be over. So much waiting. 33 out of 36 claims were approved…

Same been two months with still no word and I call the Va and they read the same script of how I need to call my msc
