Just Starting.....

I have just started my MEB process and met with my PEBLO for the first time on Monday. Then met with the VA rep yesterday. There was a form that I was supposed to fill out listing everything I wanted to claim through the VA. I told him that I wanted a chance to go through my medical records so I could make sure I didn't forget anything significant. He said just to list what I had off the top of my head and I could add things later. So I did, trusting that he knew what he was doing. Should I not have? Hearing different things from different people and that if I want to add something, it wouldn't be considered until after the whole process was complete. Please advise.

When you attend your C&P exams, you can inform the docs of any additional conditions. My lower back pain was not initially on the form the VA rep completed but when I went to my exams, I let the docs know and they added the new condition.

Thank you. I'm just so confused about the whole process and want to make sure I don't mess anything up!

No worries. The process can be overwhelming! Just be sure to have a list prepared when you go to your VA exam. Best of luck!
