Veteran dilemma

What people need to understand is that those issues that we did not agreed with, and saw that were unfair in the 80s and 90s became actual law, but left us Gulf war veterans out. I joined in 1976 all the way honorably and no brake in service until 1993. March 1996 was going to be my retirement month, November 1993, I was discharged with 8 0dollars a month in the cold winter of Denver. No training. No pre anything, simply gone out. I felt like I was coming out of prison instead of having dserved in the military. Could hardly walk then. Just imagine overnight, I lost everyhting.

two months shy of getting my retirement locked in.

Hi,
I was just trying to figure out your post. Are you saying all those during that era that were discharged in the most inhumane ways possibly unfair and unjust (my husband included) and there are news laws that have been put in place that are actually changing for those said service members? To which now after all theis time you are almost retired through the military? Is is a medical retirement? Also could you be more specific in such laws.... We have been researching this for some time and he was seperated July 2002. Anything wcould help at this point. TIA
