LAST UPDATE
Jan 2019- Start of Med board
Apr 2019- QTC's complete
Jun 2019- Med Board on hold for further evaluation
Apr 2020- 2019 QTC's expired, had to redo 3 QTC's, pending 2 more due to COVID
Oct 2020- Remaining QTC's complete
Nov 12, 2020- Personal Statement, NARSUM Complete; Also found out the Med board was using the VA ratings from my 2019 QTC's even though my 2020 exams were available (weird)
Nov 18 2020- Package sent to DC; Was told 4-6 weeks for a response
Dec 17 2020- MOL notification the PEB has accepted my case (odd that it took so long). PEBLO stated the 4-6 week response starts at this point which is kind of frustrating
Feb 3 2021- Received findings. 80% DoD, 100% P&T VA.
Feb 8 2021- Signed findings with PEBLO and submitted for TERA via command.
Feb 10 2021- TERA request submitted via email to MMSR-2.
Feb 16 2021- MMSR-4 Confirms receipt of TERA request. Relays 2-3 weeks for approval.
Feb 22 2021- MOL reflects requested retirement date of 30 May 2021. Current status is TDRL, the TERA request is still routing with MMSR-4. Called them this morning and they relayed another 1-2 weeks.
Feb 23 2021- Called MMSR-4 again today and they confirmed the TERA request was approved 22 Feb. Told to expect official email with approved request in 48 hours and MOL to reflect changes in 5 days or so. Planned PTAD/Terminal March 2 2021.
Feb 24 2021- Received the TERA Approval Letter from MMSR-4 via email.
Feb 25 2021- MOL correctly reflects regular retirement vs TDRL
That's it. Thanks for the interest and the support. I was asked by the Admin to make a new post regarding my experience with TERA, which I'll do after I receive my DD 214, in order to provide information on any additional processes that may be required.
