Was just told I’ll be going thru an MEB and I have 19 years and 7 months. Also, my actual retirement packet should be going up to DA any day now, but I guess they’re Med boarding me anyway. My question is, I really want to make it to 20 years, so how long will the MEB process take? I have about 5 months until I hit 20 years obviously, so I was thinking I’d make it but I just wanted to ask around to make sure.
With 5 months remaining I’d say you’re golden, especially with terminal leave. Some on here have stretched it 8-12 months, just use all the time allotted to you at every step and appeal along the way if you have to.
If you already applied for retirement you are presumed fit.
