Found unfit. Package sent to VA 16 Nov. Wonder how much longer from this point?
I would think a week or two. I never got an unfit notice so i only know it took 5 weeks from submission to afpc to va completion.
I think it just depends because my VA portion has been with DRAS since the 1st of November which means they started working my case before I was even submitted to the IPEB. I'm hoping that speeds up my ratings being sent back to AFPC.
Same here. VA reviewed mine in September. I wondered if that would have anything to do with making it go through faster once PEB submitted to them.
How did you find out you were unfit? Locally they said fit, but the medicals branch AFCP said I was unfit and then it was going to the Disabilities group for them to say fit or unfit, which was 3 weeks ago or so. Active Duty Air Force 20+ years.
My PEBLO said if you get a C&P exam your are pretty much guaranteed to be unfit because the exam costs 15k+ and the USAF is real hesitant on sending anyone who is questionable. She also said shes really only seen peoples packages come back fit if the member challenges it. But thats also more anecdotal than fact I would think.
I've been getting this survey asking me how my MEB went (that I cant fill out because it asks about ratings and stuff) and its really starting to get old. I about have a stroke every time I get an email "your IDES process" and I get excited then it crushes my dreams.
Yeah, I felt my soul leave my body when I got that email, too. Lol. I dont know why it's sent out when we aren't even done yet.

From my earlier post above, I have to wait a few more weeks to get a finding from the PEB. I probably got "that guy" who purposely takes his time and scouts through everything with a fine tooth comb for each and every condition then asks a million questions about each. Just say fit or unfit. I'm pretty sure vertigo and falling over all the time would be unfitting.
Back to your post: I wonder if our PEBLOs get our "anonymous" feedback about the process?
I also hope a potential government shutdown doesn't affect any of our cases.

Nope, no ratings yet. I was doing some stalking through the old cases on here and it seems the AF ratings always show on a Wednesday or Thursday so maybe today but I'm not getting my hopes up. I would think the PEBLO gets some type of feedback. I feel bad because my current PEBLO is awesome but the lady who filled in for her while she was deployed was hot dog shit who messed up every MEB that was in process so obviously my survey will reflect that.
Hopefully they get your package pushed through quicker than they estimate, the holidays will really slow everything down.

You’re not alone. I got the same survey and my MEB package was just accepted to the physical disabilities operations branch on Friday.
It just seems ridiculous to email me every day for a survey I cant even do
Called providence and they faxed my proposed ratings. Should be 50% dod and 80% va! We will see when my 356 shows up but it's looking good!
How did you get them to fax them?
I called and said I hadn't recieved them and my msc is impossible to get ahold of
