Just saw today my VA claim moved from Baltimore to Clevland and says: Claim Type: Regulatory or Procedural Review. I was told by my AF PEBLO i was found Unfit and they were waiting for the VA to apply ratings. Does anyone know what Claim Type: Regulatory or Procedural Review this means. Im so confused and trying to figure out what kind of time frame im looking at since the new IDES pubs say once my docs are signed Ive got 20 days to outprocess and leave and with a family of 4 thats not alot of time to pack and relocate. thanks in advance for all those who input and view.
I have posted my timeline on here on several postings but I am AF as well so maybe this will help you for timelines...
26 March- Unfit
28 March- VA received PEB paperwork
9 April- Cleveland "regulatory/procedural review"- which means they are doing the ratings part and will then send back to Baltimore for the benefits letter and administrative paperwork
11 April- Cleveland finished and ratings back at Baltimore
30 April- VA mailed ratings to PEB and emailed my VA rep which received it the same day
I am currently waiting on my findings and was told I would be hearing something between 1-10 business days. Tomorrow marks business day 9 so I am hoping I hear something, if not then hopefully Monday.
I have 3 conditions so maybe that is why the VA was pretty quick with my rating- it only took them a month to complete the ratings once they received the PEB paperwork. AFPC is stating that the VA is taking approx 6 weeks to return ratings back to the board from the date of request.
If I had to guess I would say you are looking at around 6-8 weeks for findings, hopefully less, but just easier to give yourself more time. Cleveland literally completed my rating the same day it was received, closed it, and mailed back to Baltimore the same day. I learned all my dates through an IRIS inquiry. The 800 number nor the website ever matched- so try not to focus too much on it if you can help it. I don't even check my benefits anymore because nothing is right on the screen compared to where I am in the process.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
