That's awesome! Did you get your top choice? My case manager has my packet but I'm not sure if she's submitted it. Debating on emailing her to see if it's been submitted. And by assignment do you mean your orders for air evac?Got my assignment today. just to clarify my packet was turned in on 28 August. I thought it was submitted earlier but i misunderstood. So 4 -5 days timeline.
Yep, got my top choice. orders will be in IPPSA. that's where you'll get your orders. Since we have a 4 day I am assuming I'll download it on Wednesday, no rush. Report date 31 Oct. Btw your orders should include your family. Since we are not authorized leave, I suggest once you get your orders call the Lodging to the post you are reporting to and reserve a room.That's awesome! That's not a bad idea. I would thought your report date would have been sooner but it's still a start. Keep me posted. update. Commander finally submitted the packet back to my case manager. Not sure how long it'll be now before air evac contacts meYou should have yours soon, report date i think depends on availability, so depending on the duty station it might be earlier
How long did this process take for you total? From when air evac got your packet till you got your orders cut?So once Air evac submits your packet to MEDCOM, you will get an email once MEDCOM issues your report date. Air evac then contacts the SRU S1, that you are assigned and they are supposed to cut your orders on IPPSA.

Finally got contacted by air evac 14Sep2023 and got them all the paperwork they needed within the hour of receiving the email. The email said the processing timeframe is 30-90 days so I'm not sure if that's 30-90s till I'll report or till I'll get my orders. Thanks man. November 16th is my report date. It's not too far out. I'm just pissed that they make you leave here the 16th and expect you to travel across the world to Georgia and report the same day haha. Even with the flight the military booked for me I'm gonna be a few hours late lol
