Med board question

ok so i had ulcerative colitis at 17 yo and joined at 19 i told my recruiter but the recruiter never wrote anything down so the army has no clue i had this prior before enlisting. i have flares ups now and am seeking help and they found out what i have and want to get me a meb. will the army ever find out that i had this before joining and if they do will i be in trouble? thank you in advance

IF the Army finds out, they COULD process you under Chapter 7 administrative separation secondary to fraudulent entry.... or they could deem you unfit due to a condition that EPTS and discharge you under medical....or they could process you through the MEB, either finding you fit or unfit as if you never had it before joining. It really depends on the people that are working the case as to how they would deal with it.

Eight year rule covers EPTS. Fraudulent enlistment is a different issue. Seek legal representation.

How long have you been in? if MEPS didnt catch it I would just remain silent.

3 years and my symptoms are getting bad so the drs are tryna help me, but will Med board me because it requires strong meds
