Medical Retirement Payment

If I officially Medically Retire February 24th, 2024 would I get paid by the Army for my DoD percentage for March 1st? Since I won't receive a VA disability until April 1st, 2024.

The Army will cover the gap until you VA pay start. Obviously, it will be for the DOD amount not the VA amount.
