Medically Retired as a Marine Reservist

Hello everyone,

I am searching for advise on becoming medically retired from the Marines Reserves on an upcoming medical board due to being in constant pain I have been in the Marines reserves for 5 years (currently an E5) and have multiple injuries documented. Car accident on orders, a back/neck injury from falling on a range during a training exercise in the middle east which lead to 2 herniated discs in back and 2 in neck. Diagnosed with carbon Monoxide poisoning from a military vehicle and 2 other re-injuries of my back on ranges due to paperwork not being processed. I am currently on LOD and facing a med board soon. All of my injuries have been documented and I have been getting treatment and physical therapy for the past year and have degenerative disc disease, radiculopathy and other documented injuries . I have already been rated 100% p&t from the VA but would like to be medically retired and not medically separated. I know my military service is nothing compared to most active duty people because I only left the country once and never served for more than 29 days, but the Marines have really jacked my body up bad and would like to be treated fairly. My question is am I eligible to be medically retired under CRSC conditions as a reservist with 5 years in and no active duty time. If so what's the best approach to achieve this? Thank you
