Going through a MEB for chronic anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Officially diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Adjustment Disorder & PTSD. Have been on two different meds for about 8 months. Not able to concentrate, have to miss work frequently for panic attacks, fucked up a lot of friendships/relationships. What percentage am I looking at? I'm wanting 70-100% because I dont know if I'll be able to hold a job after the Army so I'm scared. I havent had my C&P exams yet. Anyone have advice ? a similar situation?

I just went through the med board for PTSD. I walked in thinking I’d get 50% DOD but ended up with 70% shockingly. My best advice? Write down all of your symptoms and bring that with you to your C&P exam so you can clearly articulate to your examiner what your symptoms are. You are your best advocate for what you’re feeling. I went in with a notebook that had all of my symptoms written on it. Made the exam so much easier. HMU if you want some more pointers.

Im going through the same thing currently. Its so hard to even show up to work let alone care for things when I feel like this every day. Im trying to drag this out until August, Im dual military and my husband is leaving around then for a short tour, we live in dc and if I dont get a good rating we arent going to be able to afford to live because I dont think I can hold a job with my PTSD/MDD symptoms. Luckily Andrews is MAJORLY backlogged so it might push my out date. But with the backlog/waiting I overthink about my rating and my appointment every single day. Definitely not helping my symptoms. Once you hear something I'd love to hear how it went for you. I'm sure youll hear something before I do!
