MEPS medical records missing

Hi everyone!
Hoping to get some advice or a regulation reference (Air Force) for initial package submission to AFPC. According to PEBLO I am missing my MEPS medical records. The deadline to submit the package to AFPC is the 25th of November. If PEBLO submits package as is will it get rejected? Is there a waiver letter PEBLO can submit? Or will my MEB process will need to start all over if the deadline is missed and an incomplete package is submitted? Trying to help out PEBLO by calling my last station but they said they don't have it anymore. They had it at one point but it's been sent out. Any advice or suggestion anyone may provide I will greatly appreciate. Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I deleted your duplicate post.

I suspect someone who can offer advice regarding your situation will come along later today .

Good luck,
Ron

Absent of records, presumption of soundness applies. Unless they can provide clear and unmistakable evidence, EPTS would not be a factor.

Thank you for the reply gsfowler. Just out of curiosity, what does EPTS mean?

Existed Prior To Service (EPTS) refers to medical conditions that were diagnosed or sustained before the service member joined the military.

So PEBLO got back to me and I was told because I don't have have my physical Medical records I would not be rated on anything else but the primary reason I am being separated. If I need to claim anything else I would do this after I get out. Is this true? And is the process to claim more disability easy when I won't have my medical records with me? I feel like I am getting the short end of the stick here. In the Air Force we never carry our physical medical records and now I am in this situation. Is there a waiver or a regulation that would help me in this case? Thank you in advance for any help/advice.

If you’re talking about your MEPS record it is not needed for your MEB. My PEBLO couldn’t get my MEPS file either and my package still went through.

Thank you Brokin1104 for the your reply. Did you recently retired sir? Also were all your other disabilities also rated too? I am confused or have mixed opinions if I should wait until they find my meps medical records, if they find them at all, or just push the package through.

I’m still waiting for fit/unfit determination but I didn’t have the option to stop my package even though the MEPS record was missing.
