I have been told by my unit that I have been seperated from the National Guard due to my 80% rateing which is for blood clots (aggravated by duty as gunner and driver in Afghanistan) and I will be on coumadane blood thinner for life.Still waiting to see if this will be a medical retirement have not heard anything lately from our State. I only have 4 years active USMC and 2 active guard and 2 years m-day status in the Guard. Question, is anMRB the same as a MEB and can I receive medical retirement.
Thanks
