Narcolepsy; Adding an unfitting condition to an existing MEB

Hi. I've been in the IDES process since late January 2019. I was initially referred to the MEB for Degenerative Disc Disease and an L5-S1 Disc Herniation. Currently, I have been found unfit for those conditions, and have a total of 28 claims that are awaiting ratings from the VA. That said, after two overnight sleep studies and a daytime multiple sleep latency test, I was diagnosed with narcolepsy, given a P3 profile, and referred again to the MEB. Has anyone ever been through this situation...where you had to add in an unfitting condition to an existing MEB, especially after being found unfit?

Legal and my PEBLO both said I have to wait for the ratings to come back before I can do anything. No one has provided info on what this looks like though. In the interim, I am keeping a daily sleep log, gave a copy to my sleep Dr., and explicitly asked him to enumerate in ALTA how many sleep attacks I have per week...per the DBQ.
