Good Morning. I've used this forum to help me figure out a lot of what's going on, so i figured i'd post my MDD timeline to help others. I'm an Active Duty E6 with 7 years or service.
Basically I was diagnosed with MDD, severe anxiety, and I have 12 other conditions on my VA C&P disability exam. Been hospitalized once, kept for 2 days for monitoring. Been doing weekly psychology appointments, biweekly psychiatric appointments, on my fourth round of meds, and haven't been improving. My NMA basically was from my CAPT saying "He is unfit to continue Naval Service or even work administrative jobs." I was hospitalized in April, and everything has gone downhill since. I had an eval that was signed as of May which put me as "MP", and let me tell you, that's probably the main reason I am having issues currently.
March 10 - First LIMDU Status
April 25 - C&P Exam (The VA nurse doing the exam said she'd be surprised if I wasn't at least 90% and that was without seeing my audiology or mental health results)
May 15th - NARSUM signed and sent off
Sept 17th Findings of PEB " FIT - Presiding Ofcr - Exceptional EVAL 2019 "deckplate leadership" Departmental Career Counselor and taking college courses" SM remains FIT"
OCT 8th - Official Results came back
OCT 10th - Contacted Attorney, advised to submit for change to UNFIT via FPEB
This has been, and continues to be the most stressful experience ever. I'm currently working on a personal statement, statements from LCPO and CMC. A new NMA explaining my last eval, and what has changed since. My eval which should be coming out in November, is likely to be a "progressing" and I've spent 7 months TAD to FFSC doing light administrative duty. I'll be updating as I get further in the process but goodness what a headache.
