NAVY TIME QUESTIONS

On July 3rd, I signed my findings and expected the next steps to move forward relatively smoothly. As of today, July 16th, I’ve been informed that the PEB has not yet signed off on my findings or forwarded them to PER454.

Naturally, this delay has caused some concern. I’m scheduled to begin school on August 25th at my home of record. Which I need to do to afford my living situation and receive VR&E.
Without a firm separation date or orders, it’s difficult to plan accordingly, especially when trying to coordinate terminal leave and relocation.

When I spoke with my PEBLO, I was advised not to expect orders for up to 30 days after signing the findings. While I understand the process takes time and involves multiple levels of review, the uncertainty makes it challenging to align military separation with civilian commitments like school enrollment.

I would appreciate some insight on the following.
What is the average processing time between signing findings and receiving separation orders?
Is the 30-day timeline typical, or are there cases where this can move faster?
How long does terminal leave typically take to get approved once orders are issued?
If orders are received in mid-August, what is a likely projected separation date?

You can see my timeline in my signature, but that's been pretty typical as of late.

The Navy doesn't have an expedited process, and from what I know of the Army, the approval for expedited process generally takes longer than just waiting anyway.

Just of note, I had 2 days in between my message and being on terminal leave. I didn't receive hard copy orders until a couple weeks after the PRDL message.
