Need help MEB

How long have you had the T3 for? Are you just beginning treatment, or are you pretty far along? What kind of limitations did they set?

On the surface, I think it should be a P3 if you have been seeking treatment for some time. If they have been actively attempting to treat it, and you haven't improved, then they should make it perm. On the other side, if you just started treatment, and meds, it takes a couple of months for SSRs to start working. It would be hard in that case to say it should be considered perm.

Not a medical opinion, but just my opinion based on what I know about the profiling system. Ar 40-501 has a full chapter on profiling. I would look there for the by the book answers.

I been seeking help for behavioral health for the past six month but i just got my profile my question is will help my MEB and my DoD rating or not thank you[/QUOTE]

It is hard to say. It just depends on whether the condition affects duty performance. It should be claimed when you see the MSC during the initial stages of the MEB. It can go either way as far as whether DOD will find you unfit for it, and compensate it. If they don't, appeal and try and get it added when they give you your NARSUM.

As I said before, read the regulation and use it as your basis to proceed with your case. People on here can speculate all day long, but in the end, it comes down to you, how well you know the regs, and if you put the right arguments forward.

Hi guys, finally some old me news today I got my P3. I was contacted by my Peblo she told that I have my MEB brief tomorrow @ 0900 and a meeting with her @ 1330. I was surprised that I was contacted that fast. I had a meeting too this morning with my CO. CDR. and my 1SG they fully support my MEB. I want to thank you guys for all your advice and I will be posting more about my experience with this process and expect more questions from me.

Good deal; indeed, remaining positively proactive does have its merits at the end of the day! ;)

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Well, please ensure that you claim all medical conditions, medical illnesses, medical issues and medical concerns by making a list then bring the list with you to the MSC interview appointment.

If the actual disease and/or illness is not known, then list it as for example "knee condition" or "stomach condition" then the DoVA D-RAS shall evaluate your available medical documentation for any "chronic" knee condition, stomach condition, etc.
