Ok so Im on a medical board and will say I'm finally realizing this is the best route for me since. I do have a lot of problems my question is my PEBLO did not really go over anything with me what. I mean is she rush me really fast and said to me go to all your appointments don't miss any and that was it.


My question to you guys how are you finding out that your ratings our in??????
How are you guys finding things on EBENEFITS????

Seriously no one told me anything can anyone please tell me where to look my exams where all done like April and a my last one was May 5th so please tell me I would be grateful in so many ways.

Have you gotten your NARSUM back yet? You will not see anything on benefits until your completed MEB packet is forwarded to the PEB who then decides if you have an unfitting condition. Once they have decided you have an unfitting condition, they will forward your packet to the VA for ratings. Once the VA receives your packet you will see an update in Ebenefits.
 
To expand on the above...

Ebenifits will not fully update until YOU ACCEPT THE RATINGS. Meaning you sign your 199. However, some items do pop up like education benefits if you are over 50%.

Even after the VA issues ratings to the PEB, ebenifits will not track this.

When you get your NARSUM, goto the MEB Lawyer. DO NOT SIGN ACCEPTANCE until you see the MEB Lawyers. They will go over the NARSUM and look for language that can be dismissed and you lose out on a rating amount. Words like 'bilateral' are a huge difference between 'bilateral nerve damage' and 'nerve damage.'

Further the MEB lawyers here (at least) gave ball park ratings. Its all an estimate, but will give you an idea.

Remember you can have 100 things wrong with you, but the Army may say only 2 are Service discriminating. The Army rating is ONLY for Service discriminating. You want 30% Army if you have less than 20 years AFS. (for family Tricare)

Make sure you have a username and password for ebenifits. You must use your CAC to create these, but make sure you do it. Once you are out, you will not have a CAC and it can be an issue getting the un/pw.

If you are in doubt ask your PEBLO. Its their job to answer your questions.

Ebenefits will track that it has sent your ratings to the PEB by closing your original claim and moving it to the "historical claims" tab and by opening a new claim which will stay open until you upload your DD 214 which shows them that you are no longer in the military and are ready to receive payment.
As far as your DA 199, that will NOT be tracked on Ebenefits and you will have to rely on your PEBLO to keep you updated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, what I'm gathering from the above is that you are still in the MEB phase and attending your scheduled C&P exams. If so, after your appointments are complete, you will be waiting for your NARSUM. As far as the NARSUM is concerned I agree with the information that @Chandalen has provided you. I also agree that you should set up a username and password for Ebenefits this can be done at https://myaccess.dmdc.osd.mil/identitymanagement/registration.do?execution=e2s1 by using your CAC. The DS logon account can be used for milconnect, the Army HRC site, myTRICARE, and a few other sites.
 
To answer your question "how are you finding out on ebenefits" I will say that ebenefits sucks and doesn't tell us anything. The site that will tell you the most is myhealthevet and it has the results of your CP (comp and pension) exams and you can extrapolate that info to the VASRD and then glean some real Intel on your particular case!! Ebenefits sucks big time except it can be a major stepping stone!!!
 
To update everyone who has comment thank you NO i have not gotten a letter saying Im fit or unfit second Im at a stand still I guess I guess I will wait but Im getting scared....

I was told to not use my CAC because when I get out i won't have a ID card like that I was told to do it a different way.

Thank you have not gotten my NARSUM nope nothing yet and I have surgery on the 16th of this month of May I will wait and hope for the best but Im getting scared

Initially you will use your CAC to set up the account I believe.

Ok I will do so I did go into myhealthevet and there is nothing but it says something like I have to upgrade my account and have to do that in person well the VA is 2 hours away so I won't be doing that right now I think I better wait for someone to walk me thru this also I think Im causing problems and getting things messed up and do not know what I am doing. :(
 
There wasn't an option for you to do it online? I just upgraded my account yesterday and it let me digitally sign it.

How do you download your stuff on myhealthevet? I can get to it but one it loads it says ready for download but doesn't give me anything to click on to download.

You can link your ebenefits and the myhealthevet together you don't need to go anywhere. Google it d it will walk u thru it

Yes I get that screen but then when I click it there is nothing there zero information but it shows dates for today very ODD any idea???

Yes there is a option for me to upgrade but it says I have to go to a LOCAL VA to show ID to them is that ODD or what..

What about these two?
There is a possibility that the VA hasn't uploaded your files yet which could be the reason why you aren't able to download anything. Also, you have to have a premium account in order to download your files.
