I got a Letter in January for the PDBR to review my status it has been about 8 weeks since I have submitted the requested info and I have not heard anything. My current status is I am only getting 20% from the VA. How does this PDBR process work? am I supposed to be getting money from the military as well or just the VA. If the PDBR states that I am eligible for an increase how does that process work with the VA in getting my increase in place. Who should my main contact be regarding this.

The PDBR takes quite some time (some cases take well over two years). You stated that you currently only get 20% from the VA, when you were given severance by the Marine Corps, was the condition rated at 20% by the VA?
The PDBR is going to look at your condition that you were given severance for and whether or not it was rated correctly. If the condition should have been rated greater than 20% or if you had other conditions that should have bene rated, there is the possibility that the USMC may give you a medical retirement.
