Hi. I’ve been in the Army National Guard for 25 years. Served three overseas tours in Iraq, 04-05, 2010-2011, 2021-2022. Purple Heart. CAB.
12 years total active service time, the rest is NG time.
I’ve been receiving treatment at the Vet Center for PTSD for quite a few years. The VA recently rated me at 70% for PTSD related to the Purple Heart received overseas.
Also 50% rated for sinusitis. Burn pit exposure.
Getting ready to go under the knife for the second time for my left shoulder, which is also service connected.
The ortho Surgeon gave me a permanent profile that is triggering a med board.
Army saw the 70% ptsd rating and that also triggered a board.
Guess my question is, what happens next and what should I expect or be on the look out for? Or be ready to do?
