No one has reached out to me since I was retired

I was medically retired Jan 17 2017 at 50% from the DOD and 80% from the VA. I haven't heard from anyone about my 18 month evaluation which would've been in May. I have confirmed with the people at Fort Hood as well as through the online portal that my address, phone number, and email are up to date. I havent received any notices in the mail either stating appointment date. Why is it taking so long to be contacted for re-evaluation? Should I be worried?

No, you should not be worried. The services expect you to be on time, but they are usually late!

I didn't hear from them for 3 years and they were supposed to do it in 6 months. You are in the three-year limit for TDRL I wouldn't start getting aggressive about it till January 2019 if you haven't heard anything by then start bugging people. Also if you have a favorable VA re-exam on the unfit TDRL condition turn that in and demand it be used for final IDES determination.

Update: Someone from Fort Hood reached out to me and then I never heard anything back. Whats going to happen if I reach my 3 year mark and I still havent had an exam?
