Hello, I’ve been recommended for a MEB on March 21st for my on going injuries and issues while being in the army. But I’m just wondering when I will finally get a call to get started been almost 2 weeks now

Have you been issued your permanent profile? Nothing can be initiated until that is signed. Where are you stationed OCONUS?

I am stationed OCONUS Germany my PCM mentioned to me on March 21ST a Friday that he will be putting me in for a MEB due to On going issues with my knees and no improvement with PT.

He mentioned to check my my med pros to see when they add a 3rd profile which I believe is a P3 profile I have been in permanent profile for 4 months already

Yes, so there has to be a specific provider that signs the P3 profile before it starts. My PEBLO is out of the Landstuhl office and she contacted me pretty quickly after my P3 was signed. Hopefully you are in the KMC or Weisbaden area. It seems like it is quicker to get VA appointments scheduled and completed here rather than in Graf. My MEB phase was super quick. P3 signed on 24 January and my NARSUM was completed on 11 March. I've been in the PEB phase for 2ish weeks.

I’m in the area just in Baumholder so probably reason why it’s taking longer.
So basically my provider should have put the paperwork in I’m just waiting on a Signature to then get started he mentioned I should know before may because if not I will go to the field

I'm stationed at Baumholder too. It truly does lie in the hands of the approval authority signature. I would say to just follow up with your PCM. You can contact them via MH Genesis which is probably the easiest at this point. I was told they are down to 1 MD right now so appointments are pushed out to over a month. I made a PCM appt at the end of March and it isn't schedule until the first week of May. Or you could possibly talk to your BN PA? They could possibly make a call on your behalf? I just relooked at my timeline and my P3 was signed on 24 January and first contact with the PEBLO was on 10 Feb. If you want to direct message me we can talk more specifically.

Yes I will contact PCM next week if I don’t hear nothing because I’m due for an ACFT which I can’t do and have to keep going for temp profiles for other injuries until someone signs.
Is the BN PA the battalion patient advocate?
But if I still don’t have my p3 then that is my PCM who hasn’t done it yet?

No the PA is the physician assistant. We have one at my battalion. They usually work in your aid station. Are your injuries that you are requestion temp profiles for the same as you referred condition? Because if it is not you would still have to request a temp profile.
