Is PDRL permanent? If the va reduces me will that affect my permanent army ratings for which I was medically retired for?
Did you fight the rulingBasically what happened is the VA proposed ratings from the IDES changed upon receipt of final award after separation. I was worried that something like that would happen, but I was shocked when it did happen because they lowered one of the ratings Went from 100 to like like 94.9 schedular. Just kinda a small kick in gut.

I’m not sure. That’s something with more experience, would have to answer. I don’t see why you couldn’t. It’s definitely worth looking into. Losing 100% is a big deal. In my opinion.Am I allowed to fight it?
Now my benefits says I have a claim pending for “Military pay in lieu of compensation” and even though I’m at 90% my letter says my award amount is $0. Suuuuuper confused!
I never requested anything! At one point after getting my 100% proposed ratings in IDES I had to sign a form electing to waive retire pay for va comp. this whole shit is so confusing. I don’t know who is going to pay me. I was 80% DoD permanent, I received v1v3 codes for my unfitting conditions, so I should get my disability retire pay tax free from DoD if I understand correctly, and if that was the case I believe my DoD pay would be higher than what I’d receive at 90 VA, but if taxed my DoD would be less than the VA amount, so that just leaves me plain confused. You need to find a VSO immediately did you just put in a claim? This usually happens when you file a claim and elect to receive retired pay instead of VA comp. You need that fixed now before the VA suspends your payments.
