I was Medically Retired from the USMC in Oct of 2010 less then 20 years of service with a 40% rating from the DOD and a 60% rating from the VA. I logged on to MOL today just to look around, under Chronological Record it says (RETIRED LIST MAINT/SPT SECTION (MMSR-7) RUC: 88870 MCC: RET INACTIVE 20101031 JOIN RUC 88870 MCC RET TDRL). Was I placed on TDRL? Because on my (Finding Commentary of the Physical Evaluation Board) It says PDRL. The DOD paid me a retirement pension up until the VA started paying me for disability. I currently have a DD-Form 2 (Retired) ID card, on the front of this card it says Expiration Date INDEF, and on the back it says EXP DATE 2052SEP30. Any help to clear up if im TDRL or PDRL. Thanks

What does your DD Form 199 and orders say?
PDRL. If you were placed on TDRL your ID card would have a 5 year expiration date and the PEB would not have indicated PDRL. It's possible the code in the system may be wrong so I would contact HQMC and address the issue. It's also possible it's right and just looks "off."
