PDRL Timeline

Hi was found unfit with 40% rating. I was placed on PDRL and my question is how long does it take for HQMC to give me my retirement date once i accept my findings. Its been a week since i accepted and still haven't heard anything and am ready to get out of here.

It depends on many factors, but in my experience, usually 3-4 weeks. Then you should build in time to outproccess. Some events you won't be able to start until you have orders in hand. But if you can start clearing at the unit level, go to transition, etc., you can cut the time.

Thats what i figured, thanks for your help Jason. Now the only question I have left is. I have all ready done taps class for transitioning and I have done my final physical and checked out. So basically once I get my date its pretty much the PTAD and leave and I am gone. I just wanted to confirm that. Also i have a mistake I meant TDRL instead of PDRL. Didn't know if that would make any difference.
