Hi everyone I new in this forum but I have been following for a lont time since I started my MEB process and it has being really helpfull. I just need to find out what the V codes means on this memo of unfitting conditions from the PEB that was send out last week to VA in Sattle WA for ratings. For example my PTSD, Mayor depressive diorder said yes in all the V1,V3,and V4. Fro the Chronic Neckand back pain said yes V1 and V3 and for my fibrormyalgia all tehm said no. Can somebody in nthis forum explain to me what really means please. I talk to my peblo but he don't know.

I believe that means whether they were combat related. I've seen that question asked before in here but I'll leave it up the more experienced posters on here. So you don't know ratings yet?
I read something about a power of attorney to one of the service organizations like vfw or dav. I asked for further explaination but haven't got any feed back yet
Mr. Soto just happened to run across your posting about awaiting your ratings and was wondering had you received them as of yet. I see we share some very similar conditions and both are awaiting ratings.
No nothing yet. My claim just when back to gathering evidence since Jan 16 and I just called today the PEB people in WA and they told me that VA is going to work my claims the I submitted before this meb/ peb process. It's keep getting worse for me. Non sense what VA is doing to me.
Are you active duty by chance? I am stationed at Ft. Hood and experiencing a very similar situation to yourself. The VA actually sent me my propsed ratings and I am awaiting the 199. I am thankful to be at a WTU/WTB. My fibromyalgia was improperly rated so I plan to appeal or do the 1 time VA reconsideration. If I was in my old unit I would probably just take whatever findings from the PEB and run. But, since I am in the WTU/WTB I plan to get a fair and correct rating for all my conditions.
