Possible medboard?

Good morning, I am 23 with 6 years in the Army. I was recently diagnosed with bicuspid aortic valve with mild regurgitation, mild left ventricular hypertrophy, and mild left ventricular dilation. I have had chest pain while running in the past, and dizziness. I am also on BP medicine with essential primary high blood pressure. I follow up with my cardiologist later in the month to go over everything since the testing. All of this has been confirmed by echo, CTA, EKG, stress test, & heart monitor. My question is, is this a medboard situation or no?

I'm not army but based on it being mild, if can get it under control with meds you probably are good to go. I would recommend working on your cardio, and cutting out alcohol.

If your condition worsens or you need physical training waivers long term, you'll be looking at a medboard.

I've had similar issues since I was 23 and the airforce was fine with me as I started to take two BP meds and I aced my PT tests. Going on 38 this year and my heart is not the cause of my issues or my medboard.

I feel better and have had a follow-up checkup with my doctor.
