I am currently in the army on recruiting duty and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. After I talked with my PA she said I was NOT med board able and if I had questions to call the MEB Clinic. I waited a few days and decided to call them. They stated that I was (I checked AR 40-501 so I knew that already) and that if I had questions about everything to call the FT Stewart MEB office since I am dealing with a airforce base. I didn't even have to give my name I explaies part of the situation and he asked if my doctor was (don't want to say her name or get her in trouble). He stated he told MCDILL AFB MEB clinic to tell her to write me a p3. I called back to MCDILL they told me I needed to make an appointment. After all this you would think that they would have been like okay we will figure it out ( appointment was the next day by the way). I get to my appointment and she proceeds to tell me the MEB clinic said I was not MED Boardable....... She was just as upset as I was that they were telling me one thing and her another. She wrote me a permanent p3 U2 l2 profile. She said it was temporary until final approval the date on the Eprofile said until the 12th of November ......what do I do now it's been a month no word. My brigade is tracking a med board process but I am in the dark.......to make matters worse my PA switched units so now I have a new PA I have never met I'm at 10 years in and wouldn't mind staying in as a different MOS (I am 11b and no I will not stay in recruiting) or getting a discharge. I need to decide since my ETS date is 22oct 2016 and don't want to leave my family high and dry financially

Oh and when my doctor was doing my profile she was asking me how to fill it out so i really don't think that was done right either.
