Hello,
Thanks for all the information that you all provide, It has been definitely beneficial. I have a question my spouse is in the medboard process, well several weeks ago the Psychologists started the Medboard and shared with us that he is submitting it for Chronic PTsd and Mdd, well we saw the Peblo and the unfit condition that brought him to the Medboard said Anxiety, my question is how can he get the unfitting Condition to State PTSD and Mdd, he has been dealing with PTSd about 8 yrs now and we want it to reflect the Chronic PTSD so that we can at least be hopeful about getting the 30% for our family so that we can have medical insurance. He has been in 11 yrs. I also showed the Peblo what the Dr. Stated and what He was being seen for and it was told to us that there was nothing that can be done now to change the p3 or add to it and that we have to wait and see the other Drs from the Va and they could update the Profile if he has sufficient evidence which he does and yes he does have anxiety, insomnia with the PTSD but not just the Anxiety, can someone explain to me what is the best route to go?

Thanks For the responses.

Is the PTSD Combat or MST? If not then that is why they switched it to GAD they will also do that if they fill there wasn't a strong enough stressor from combat to warrant a PTSD diagnosis a CAB or CIB makes that point moot though. All MH claims are rated the same the only loss I see here is if it is Combat PTSD he absolutely needs to get it fixed because he would qualify for CRSC if retired. See the link below for the DBQ for mental disorders his ratings will be mainly based off question 3 on that form but it still needs to be as detailed as possible.

Thanks for responding and Thanks for the link. His Chronic Ptsd is combat related, I spoke with the peblo she said the Dr said to do the exam and that That she will update the profile to have it on there if the Va determined he has PTSD and it is in his records, I was not to happy with that answer , I wanted them to do it before his va exam..
